Bylo nebylo, v krásném městě Děčíně, stálo malebné červené domčátko. Toto domčátko se jmenovalo Na Růžku, protože na jeho štítu zdobily vyobrazení růží všech barev. V domě Na Růžku žila rodina, která se věnovala tradičním řemeslům. Otec byl zámečník, matka malířka a jejich syn Tomáš se učil truhlářem. Každý večer, když se na nebi objevila první hvězda, se rodina sešla v obývacím pokoji a povídala si o svých pracovních dobrodružstvích. Jednoho dne se rodina rozhodla vydat na výlet do nedalekého lesa. Chtěli najít nějaké dřevo, ze kterého by mohli vytvořit nové nádherné nábytek, který by zdobil jejich domov Na Růžku. Vyrazili tedy do lesa s nůžkem na houby a košíkem na oběd. Když dorazili na místo, kde mělo být nejvíce dřeva, zjistili, že tam všechno dřevo zmizelo. Slyšela jsem vaše smutné vyprávění a přišla vám pomoci," zasmála se a několikrát zatřepala svými křídly. Rodina se podívala na ni s úžasem.
