V dávných dobách, kdesi ve velkém lese, se nacházela tajemná charovna zvaná Klamoš. Byla to mocná a chytrá čarodějka, která ovládala umění magie a laskavosti. Její charovná síla však byla dvousečná, neboť měla tendenci lidem lhát a klamat. Jednoho dne se v nedaleké vesnici objevil mladý pohádkový hrdina jménem Jakub. Byl statečný, moudrý a velmi spravedlivý. Jakub slyšel o pověstech o Klamoši a rozhodl se vydat na nebezpečnou cestu do lesa, aby ji zastavil a dále neklamala a neškodila lidem. Dlouhé hodiny putování přes rozvětvené stezky a hustý porost lesa dovedly Jakuba až k malému, zakletému domku s kuřátkem na plotně. Jakub zaklepal na dveře a vešel dovnitř. A tam, uprostřed temné místnosti, seděla Klamoš. Klamoš byla starší žena s bílými vlasy a jiskřivýma očima. "Vítej, mladý cestovateli," promluvila tajemným hlasem. "Co tě sem přivádí?" Jakub odvážně odpověděl: "Jsem tu, abych tě zastavil v tvém klamání a pomohl lidem ve vesnici žít v pravdě a míru." Charovna se zasmála a řekla: "Ty, malý hrdino, nemůžeš mne zastavit. Mé kouzlo je neuvěřitelně mocné a může ti udělat všechno, co si přeješ!" Jakub však nezevšedněl. Věděl, že musí použít svou moudrost, aby Klamoši odolal. "Milá Klamoš," řekl s klidem, "tvoje síla je velká, ale jaké je to prospěch, když tvoje kouzla používáš k lhaní a klamání? Není lepší dávat lidem radost a lásku?"
