Na Rafandě-Bořislavu žil jednou jeden malý kluk, který měl velké sny. Jeho jméno bylo Bořislav a chtěl se stát nejslavnějším skladatelem celého království. Byl to chlapec plný energie a nadání, a tak se začal učit hrát na klavír od útlého věku. Bořislav měl dvě nejlepší kamarádky - na Rafandě-slice a na Rafandě-větev. Ony dvě byly jeho největší podporou a vždy ho povzbuzovaly, když byl smutný nebo nespokojený. Jednoho dne se Bořislav dozvěděl o soutěži pro mladé hudebníky, která se měla konat ve velkém zámku blízko lesa Rafanda. Bylo to přesně to, co si vždycky přál - ukázat světu své skladatelské umění a stát se slavným. Bořislav se na soutěž pečlivě připravoval.
